The Miralia/Stranahan Duo creates innovative, dynamic electro-acoustic soundscapes using both ancient and modern acoustic and electronic instruments. They draw influences from the avant-garde, free improvisation, experimental noise, metal, and ambient musics, but the results are wholly original and will never be reproduced exactly the same way twice.

LISA MIRALIA (electronics, synths, vocals, bells) is a musician, DJ, and curator of independent sound art events and event series in Cleveland, Ohio. She performs solo and in a number of collaborative projects involving experimental electronics, electro-acoustic improvisation and composition, noise, psych rock, dark ambience, and deep third eye drones. Lisa works with both home built and traditional electronics and instruments, vocals, and at times performance art.

PAUL STRANAHAN (gong array, singing bowls, drums, percussion) is a percussionist, composer, and teacher. Paul performs regularly as a solo artist, and has led his own jazz and fusion groups as well as performing and recording with prog metal bands and most recently his avant improv group Night Terrors. Paul has a new solo gong release called "Journey to Planet Gong" also has a double CD release "Gong and Singing Bowl Improvisations" out on the Infinite Number of Sounds Label.
